Welcome to Mayfair Studio Website. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at https://www.mayfairstudio.co.uk (the "Site"), operated by Mayfair Studio ("we", "us", "our").

By accessing or using the Site, including the AI planning assistant and cost estimator, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, incorporated herein. If you disagree, do not use the Site.

These Terms apply only to Site use. Architectural design services provided by Mayfair Studio are governed by a separate written service agreement.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Site according to these Terms for personal, non-commercial informational purposes related to our London architectural services.

Site content (text, graphics, AI responses, cost estimates, etc.) is for informational purposes only and is not professional architectural, financial, or legal advice. Consult qualified professionals before making decisions based on Site information.

The Site includes an AI-powered planning assistant ("whitePegasus") that provides:

• Preliminary planning guidance and permitted development assessments
• Cost estimates for Mayfair Studio's architectural services
• General information about London extension projects

You acknowledge and agree:

• AI-Generated Content: All responses from the AI assistant are automatically generated and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information. The AI assessment does not guarantee planning approval or permitted development rights.
• Not Professional Advice: Information provided is for general guidance only and does not constitute professional architectural, planning, legal, or surveying advice. You should consult qualified professionals (RIBA-registered architects, chartered surveyors, planning consultants) before making decisions about your property.
• Borough Variance: Planning rules, Article 4 directions, and permitted development rights vary significantly between London boroughs. Local authority requirements may differ from general guidance provided.
• No Guarantee: AI assessments of permitted development status are indicative only. Final determination of permitted development rights rests with your local planning authority.
• Estimates Non-Binding: Cost estimates are preliminary and subject to change based on site conditions, project scope, and complexity.
• No Client Relationship: Using the AI assistant or cost estimator does not create an architect-client relationship or service contract with Mayfair Studio.

You agree not to use the Site unlawfully or for prohibited purposes, including:

• Copying, distributing, or disclosing any part of the Site, AI assistant, or estimator logic.
• Using automated systems (robots, spiders) excessively.
• Interfering with system integrity or security.
• Harvesting personally identifiable information.
• Submitting false or misleading information.
• Damaging or impairing the Site.
• Data scraping or mining.

Currently, formal service engagements and payments are handled offline. These Terms will be updated if online contract/payment functionalities are introduced via the Site in the future.

The Site and its contents (information, software, text, images, design, AI assistant logic, estimator logic) are owned by Mayfair Studio or its licensors and protected by UK and international IP laws. The Mayfair Studio name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of Mayfair Studio. Use requires prior written permission.

The Site is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE". Mayfair Studio disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or that AI-generated planning assessments and cost estimates are perfectly accurate (see Section 3).

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mayfair Studio (and its affiliates, directors, employees) shall not be liable for indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from Site use or inability to use.

Our liability is limited and excluded as permitted under applicable law. This does not exclude liability for death/personal injury from negligence or for fraud.

Reliance on AI-generated planning assessments and cost estimates is at your own risk; we are not liable for decisions or costs based on them.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Disputes should first be addressed through informal negotiation by contacting us at hello@mayfairstudio.co.uk. Allow 30 days for informal resolution.

Failing informal resolution, legal action shall be brought exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.

We may modify these Terms. Material changes will be notified by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use after changes signifies acceptance.
